Itinerant music teacher for the Buffalo Public School District. I provide instruction for Instrumental Lessons, Band, Beginning Strings, and Classroom General Music at multiple buildings each year. This year, I will be teaching Beginning Strings for 3rd and 4th grade between three schools, all of which are startup programs. My K-8 General Music courses cover a Music In Our Lives curriculum, Music Theory, and K-2 Movement In Music classes. I also have experience serving on multiple committees at the school building and departmental levels.

1. Instruction of Classroom Music for grades K-8. 2. Directed instrumental and vocal clubs.

Music instructor for all grade levels. Courses offered a wide range of musical content from music theory, history, music appreciation, aural skills, and practical application of musical skills through vocal and instrumental lessons. Also served as an Interim High School Health Teacher and High School Team Leader for Summer Terms. Served as an Academic Advisor to students to help guide them through their academic requirements and goals. This role also brought the responsibility of authoring student IEPs and to lead CSE meetings to address the academic and social-emotional needs of our students. Accomplishments: 1. Created, planned, and executed curricula for grades K-12 school wide. 2. Applied for and secured an instrumental grant from the organization Music Is Art. 3. Created and launched a new instrumental and vocal program for grades 5-12. 4. Created and launched a new chorus for students to obtain performance experience. 5. Served as the Director and Committee Chair for our school's yearly performance opportunities to audition students and give them performance experience.

Served as a Summer Term Adjunct Professor by teaching an undergraduate online Music History course which covered a wide range of topics, composers, repertoire, time periods, and political/social events of significant historical importance. Students completed and attended virtual lectures, completed assignments and writing projects, assessments, and attended live concerts as a fieldwork component for the course.

I teach private lessons for all instruments to students of all ages and various levels of musicianship. I also serve as the Director of The Matt's Music Jazz Ensemble. The jazz band has performed at various venues to give students many opportunities to play music for the public. We have performed in the Western New York Fiber Arts Festival, local WNY parks, and service performances at local senior centers.
