I'm a professional English instructor and I have a Bachelor's degree in English literature and a total of 4 years in English teaching. I taught a wide variety of students from different ages and cultural backgrounds. My method is to immerse students into the language as much as possible through making them speak more about topics that interests them. I also introduce thought provoking ideas in my curriculum to encourage critical thinking and create productive discussions.
I studied English Literature as well as linguistics at Helwan University and I graduated with a Bachelor's degree. The fields I studied were American Literature, Translation, Phonetics, Drama, poetry and applied criticism.
Before my graduation I worked as a freelance English tutor for mainly kids and teenagers in my local area. My students started recommending me to their friends and it helped me to expand my network of teaching, experiment with teaching methods and learn more about different types of students.
In 2021 I applied for my first official teaching job and I was accepted. I worked as an Instructor for adult students in their 20s. My work was part of an Egyptian project named ITIDA. The project aimed to help fresh graduates and soon to be graduated students to master English conversation and level up their language to match the required limit for jobs.
